FAQ

What is Higgsfield Genjutsu? Genjutsu is Higgsfield's video-to-video model, announced on August 31, 2026. It changes a video without reshooting it: it keeps the motion, camera work and timing and swaps the cast, objects or look using reference images.

Can I use Genjutsu without a Higgsfield subscription? Yes. Genjutsu Studio calls the official Higgsfield API for you. Buy a one-time credit pack and pay only for the seconds you generate.

What's the difference between Motion Transfer and Object Swap? Motion Transfer keeps the movement and rebuilds the scene or characters from your images. Object Swap replaces one element, such as a person, outfit or product, and keeps the rest of the footage intact.

What are Genjutsu's limits? The source video must be 4 to 30 seconds long (longer clips are trimmed to 30 seconds). You can add 1 to 8 reference images, and output goes up to 1080p.

How much does Genjutsu cost per second? On Genjutsu Studio, 480p is 48 credits per second, 720p is 103 and 1080p is 245 (100 credits = $1). A 10-second 720p clip is about $10.30.
